As an Specialist Packaging Characterization, you will be responsible for running the packaging characterization lab, maintaining analytical equipment compliant to departmental standards, performing various packaging characterization activities, documenting raw data, and reporting results.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Keeping communication with requesters (other departments within the company) and external parties for outsourcing some activities.
- Planning and executing various analytical tasks related to packaging characterization (Tensile Testing, Water Vapor and Moisture Transmission analysis, Container Closure Integrity Testing, Leak Testing, Rub Testing, determining dimensions of packaging containers, etc.).
- Registering samples, documenting raw data, writing study protocols and reporting results;
- Keeping good order in the lab and complying with applicable EHS guidelines.
| WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
- MSc/BSc in a technical field, with at least 2 years of experience with the characterization of packaging materials;
- Work experience in a multinational environment, especially in the pharmaceutical industry, is an advantage;
- Experience with Electronic Laboratory Notebook and knowledge of cGMP are advantage;
- Proficient in scientific/technical writing and current computer usage (MS Office);
- Fluent English and Dutch.
