MATERIAL PRODUCTIVITY LEADER - UNITED STATES, VARIOUS LOCATIONS

| Your challenges?

The Material Productivity Leader will provide strategic direction and will be in charge of developing, leading and executing all the initiatives for the direct material cost-out activities in the plant. Responsibilities also include supporting the operational relations with suppliers based on the strategy defined by the commodity management and procurement departments. Related activities will include fostering the correct respect of the contracts in the plant, supporting RFQ processes including its creation and follow up, as well as take part in the negotiation process regarding price definition, quantity of products, quality and logistic level. This will also entail tracking and reporting key elements/data on supplier performance.

• Ensure the correct deployment of the general Purchasing Strategy of cost reduction initiatives in the cluster
• Propose cost reduction projects/ ideas (QVE, Rebalancing, etc.) within his/her perimeter in consistency with the purchasing strategy goals
• Contribute to the correct purchasing database maintenance via the regular and constant update of corresponding data
• Support the commodity management strategy for supplier consultation & selection including negotiate and manage contracts with local/specific suppliers (price, lead times, pay terms, inventory level, etc.)
• Support and / or lead all the activities related the supply qualification system in plant according with the responsibility matrix defined

| What do we expect from you?

The minimum required skills necessary for this role:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field
• Ability to work cross-functionally
• Exceptional analytical skills
• Project management skills
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience with SAP a plus
