TOOLING ENGINEER UNITED STATES, VARIOUS LOCATIONS

| Your challenges?

Tooling Design and Development:

• Lead the design and development of thermoplastic injection molding tools, ensuring optimal efficiency and precision.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design molds that meet production needs.

Supplier Management:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with tooling suppliers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Evaluate and select tooling suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and project timelines.

Project Management:

• Oversee the entire tooling project lifecycle, from concept to production, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the tooling development process.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction in tooling design and production.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance overall tooling efficiency and performance.

Quality Assurance:

• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to establish and maintain rigorous standards for tooling quality.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on tooling components to ensure compliance with specifications.

| What do we expect from you?

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Tooling Engineer with a focus on thermoplastics.
• Strong knowledge of thermoplastic materials, injection molding processes, and tooling design principles.
• Demonstrated experience in supplier management and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
• Proficient in project management, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
