SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER – TORINO

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Supplier Quality Engineer!

| Your challenges?

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Supplier Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Quality Engineer for the product, you will assure the delivering of high-quality products to customers and ensuring the excellence of the supply chain. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality and reliability of components and materials sourced from suppliers across Europe.

| Purpose of The Role:

• Being responsible for ensuring the quality of components and materials provided by suppliers across Europe.
• Deliver approximately 50 plant visits per year in different countries in Europe
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and audits of supplier facilities throughout Europe to evaluate their quality management systems, manufacturing processes, and adherence to industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust quality assurance procedures for incoming materials and components.
• Lead investigations into quality issues identified during production or incoming inspection, utilizing root cause analysis techniques and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers across Europe, providing guidance and support to drive continuous improvement in product quality and reliability.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and provide regular reports to management on quality trends, deviations, and improvement initiatives.
• Stay up-to-date on industry developments, regulations, and best practices related to supplier quality management.

| What do we expect from you?

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• 4-5 years of relevant experience in supplier quality engineering,
• Preferred background in the automotive or rail industry
• Proficient understanding of quality management systems such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar standards, as well as quality tools like FMEA, PPAP, SPC, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven track record of conducting supplier audits, driving corrective actions, and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
• Willingness to travel extensively, up to 80-100% of the time, within Europe.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional European languages is advantageous.
• Problem-Solving: strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address technical issues quickly and efficiently.
