Security Operations (SecOps) Engineer

| Your challenges?

• Identify and investigate security incidents, including analyzing logs, conducting network and system forensics, and determining the root cause of incidents.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to identify and address potential security risks and vulnerabilities in the organization's systems and infrastructure.
• Monitor and analyze security events and incidents using security information and event management (SIEM) tools, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and other security technologies.
• Develop and maintain security incident response plans and procedures, and provide timely and effective response to security incidents.
• Participate in security incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery from security incidents.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on security best practices, threat intelligence, and emerging security technologies.
• Perform security assessments and audits, and provide recommendations for improving the organization's security posture.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, and proactively identify and implement appropriate security controls.
• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure security requirements are integrated into system development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.

| What do we expect from you?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Proven experience in security operations, incident response, and security technologies.
• Strong understanding of network and system security principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Relevant certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework or ISO 27001.
• Experience with security assessment and auditing tools and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and respond to security incidents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are preferred would be considered as assets
• Proficiency in English and French
