JUNIOR WEB SEMANTIC CONSULTANT

| Your challenges?

• Manage projects using VocBench
• Ensure data quality before publication
• Publish datasets
• Assign and manage permanent URIs with redirection capabilities
• Develop publication workflows

| What do we expect from you?

• Semantic Technologies: A strong grasp of SKOS (Simple Knowledge Organization System), OWL (Web Ontology Language), and RDF (Resource Description Framework).
• Data Modeling and Linked Data: Experience in data modeling and linked data principles, with an emphasis on creating and maintaining structured and interconnected data.
• Controlled Vocabulary Maintenance: Proficiency in managing controlled vocabularies, which includes terminology and taxonomy development, maintenance, and alignment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are crucial. Knowledge of any other EU official languages is a valuable asset.
• Controlled Vocabulary Editing Tools: Proficiency in utilizing tools such as the VocBench Suite, including VocBench and ShowVoc, is advantageous.
• The ideal candidate would have some experience or relevant studies in the field of web semantics.
