FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER - USA TRAVEL

| Your challenges?

• Managing and coordinating controls and commissioning activities in accordance with correct standards and procedures.
• Perform “Hands on” controls duties in both an individual and team setting.
• Maintain an accurate record of activity carried out on site – Produce written reports.
• Carry out and/or supervise numerous testing procedures on all installed equipment.
• Ensure all environmental health and safety regulations are upheld during all service activities.
• Carry out troubleshooting and be able to take instruction from Helpdesk or higher technical authority as required.

| What do we expect from you?

The minimum required skills necessary for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or technical school diploma with 10 years’ experience.
• Direct experience in Industrial AeroDerivative Gas Turbines with Transmitters (including Hart communication protocol), Device control loops (4-20 mA, 1-5 vdc, etc. Temperature monitoring devices (RTDs and thermocouples) Speed monitoring (magnetic pickup devices), Vibration monitoring systems (Bently Nevada, Allen Bradley XM), Fire and Gas monitoring and protection systems (Det-Tronics), Network communications (Ethernet) Serial Communications (Modbus).
• A working knowledge of Entronics Controls based systems including: FT-55, FT-100, FT-110.
• Understanding of gas turbine operation, electrical generator operation and rotating gas compressor operation is necessary.
• Experience with Rockwell Software (Allen Bradley) based control systems.
• Ability to travel extensively, routinely, and without restrictions to USA and abroad, with residence near a major metropolitan airport in USA.
