Data Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our Data Science business cell. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure. You will work closely with the data science and analytics teams to ensure that our data platform supports the business goals and objectives.

| YOUR CHALLENGES?

• Design, develop and maintain our data infrastructure, ensuring that it is scalable, reliable and performant.
• Collaborate with the data science and analytics teams to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop ETL processes to extract, transform and load data from various sources.
• Develop and maintain data models using database modelleertechnieken (preferably Kimball), Data Vault, and Star modeling.
• Develop and maintain visualizations using Microsoft products like Power BI, SSRS, and Tableau.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all data sources.
• Collaborate with architects to ensure that data infrastructure aligns with the overall technology strategy of the organization.
• Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies and provide guidance on prioritization of backlog items.

| WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and/or data engineering or a related field for mid-level candidates, and 6+ years for senior candidates.
• Strong experience with advanced analytics tools like SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, Cognos, Tableau, or SAS VA.
• In-depth knowledge of database modelleertechnieken (preferably Kimball), Data Vault, and Star modeling.
• Experience in designing and developing BI solutions using Microsoft products like SSIS, SSAS, and Power BI.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure/AWS is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work with technical architects and other stakeholders in the organization.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Self-driven and entrepreneurial mindset.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Certification in SSIS and/or SSAS, Power BI, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with other databases like MySQL, ProsGreSQL is a plus.
• Certification in Agile methodologies.
