BACK END DEVELOPER

| Your challenges?

TMC is looking for a talented and experienced developer for activities related to ingestion, archiving and dissemination of Earth Observation Data. She/he will contribute to the development of:

• Interfaces for repatriation and dissemination of data;
• Orchestration of process in an HPC/Cloud environment;
• Integration of processor for satellite data

| What do we expect from you?

• Degree in Computer Science or similar;
• More than 3 years of experience in a similar position;
• Good knowledge of Python and NodeJS;
• Good knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL preferred);
• Good command of bash scripting;
• Good command of docker;
• Good command of Linux command line;
• Good English skills (both spoken and written);
• Good command of control version tools (i.e. Gitlab, Github);
• Flexibility to handle new tasks and challenges;
• Valid work permit for EU;
• Good English skills both spoken and written;
• Team spirit, analytical mind, critical sense, versatility, autonomy and organization

Being considered as a plus:

• Other programming languages (JAVA, C++…)
• Knowledge of docker image manager (i.e. Kubernetes and/or Rancher)
• Knowledge of OData framework
• Knowledge of Kafka
• French knowledge
