MATERIAL & PROCESS ENGINEER – LOMBARDIA

TMC Italia is looking for Material and Process Engineer with expertise in materials and processes selection within the space industry, as well as control and procurement skills. The activities are based in our customer’s premises to provide support on Space applications.

The activity will be carried on in an international context.

Responsibilities will include:

• Contribute to establishing, implementing, and continuously improving Product Assurance organization.
• Maintain and manage typical M&P lists (e.g., DML, DPL, and DMPL) for assigned projects.
• Ensure compliance of processes and parts with agreed-upon quality levels throughout the hardware development lifecycle.
• Oversee correct and consistent M&P selection processes.
• Manage material configuration to ensure product availability and traceability.
• Assist in defining an effective non-conformance control system and support documentation, follow-up, and closure of anomaly and non-conformance reports, including monitoring Request for Deviation/Request for Waiver status.
• Contribute to RAMS analysis during the project lifecycle.

| What do we expect from you?

• Engineering degree or PhD in relevant areas such as aerospace, mechanics, or comparable fields
• Proficiency in Italian and English (spoken and written)
• Several years of experience in M&P roles within the space industry.
• Knowledge of various topics within M&P for space applications, including both Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and space-grade materials.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., ECSS and ASTM).
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Resilience and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
• Clear and effective communication of technical concepts
