AEROSPACE LASER/OPTICAL ENGINEER OR PHYSIC - FLORENCE

TMC Italia is looking for a Engineer or Physic based in Florence (Italy) to provide support on lasers and optical communications for space applications.

| Your challenges?

The activity will be carried on in an international context.

Responsibilities will include:

• Validate and verify optical communications system and subsystems through supporting system test validation.
• Execute Optical Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) procedures, following the AIT Plan.
• Define specifications and conduct ground tests.
• Analyze data products from optical/laser instruments, detecting events and anomalies.
• Process test data and assess optical performance.
• Develop and implement a development plan, including monitoring workshops and suppliers, as well as preparing purchase orders.
• Generate technical reports and documentation.

| What do we expect from you?

• MSc degree or PhD in Electronic or Telecommunication Engineering, and Physics with focus in optoelectronics and lasers
• Competence in optical simulation and lasers
• Knowledge of Integrated Optical
• Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written)
