R&D Engineer Optics

| Your challenges?

The mission of a R&D Engineer Optics is to apply your expertise for different industries in order to drive innovation. You can work with different techniques to o design lasers, build telescopes, create fiber optics communication systems, and much more. Thus, you put in practice at the R&D department of our clients in the High-Tech Industry. As a R&D Engineer Optics you are responsible for the design, development, characterization or testing of optical systems. You will work in R&D environments on various application areas: projection, illumination, lighting applications, wafer optics, photonics.

| What do we expect from you?

• MSc or PhD in (theoretical) physics, applied mathematics, scientific computing or comparable background
• Experience in both the theoretical and experimental part
• Industrial experience in optical fibers, optical engineer and design, water optics
• Experience with modeling, numerical methods, data analysis
• Experience with a combination of the following: Matlab, Zemax, LightTools, LabVIEW
• Good oral and written communicative skills;
• Stress resistant, team player and strong personality;
• Serious motivation for the Employeneurship model of TMC.
