| Your challenges?

Role and responsibilities

• You will work closely with Systems Engineers, Developers, Architects, and Cloud Engineers to design and implement automated data engineering solutions with CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and software build, deployment, and configuration;
• Develop automated data pipelines from a wide range of data sources using an AWS and Informatica-based technology stack with an emphasis on automation and scale;
• Maintain code and scripting version control repositories and related systems supporting initiatives around “infrastructure as code”;
• Contribute to overall architecture, framework, and design patterns to store and process high data volumes;
• Develop solutions to measure, improve, and monitor data quality based on business requirements;
• Ensure data requirements and technical features for analytics, BI, and integrations products are delivered to spec and on-time;
• Design and implement reporting and analytics features in collaboration with product owners, reporting analysts / data analysts, and business partners within an Agile / Scrum methodology;
• Proactively support product health by building solutions that are automated, scalable, and sustainable – be relentlessly focused on minimizing defects and technical debt;
• Provide post-implementation production support for data pipelines.

| What do we expect from you?

Skills

• Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or a related field required;
• Masters’ degree in Computer Science preferred;
• 1+ years of experience in a data engineering role;
• 1+ years of experience with AWS and related services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, Snowflake);
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and techniques in AWS (i.e. Glue, Airflow, Snowpipe);
• Proficiency with a dialect of ANSI SQL;
• Knowledge of and experience with RDBMS platforms, such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, Postgres, SAP HANA, and Teradata;
• Experience with participating in projects in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline team environment.
