DATA ENGINEER

| YOUR CHALLENGES?

• Design and implementation of data pipelines within big data frameworks (from data ingestion to data consumption)
• Work with both on-premise big-data environments and cloud-based applications
• Setup CI/CD and automated deployment pipelines ensuring application delivery standards
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

| WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

• Degree in Engineering/Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other data-centric disciplines
• +5 years cloudera (or equivalent) and all the main technologies involved (HDFS, Spark, Hive)
• +5 years big data technologies (i.e. Hadoop, Spark, Redshift, Snowflake, Hive, Pig etc.)
• +5 years cloud platforms (at least one among AWS, Azure, GCP)
• +3 years data quality and data governance tools and techniques
• Experience in at least one of the following languages: Scala, Python, Java
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL query languages and knowledgeable about data warehousing concepts
• Knowledge of real-time data modeling and management principles
• Experience dashboarding and BI solutions such as Looker, DataStudio, PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView is appreciated
• Strong analytic and investigative skills, combined with a strong service orientation
• Eager to learn, team spirit, initiative and autonomous way of working
• Fluency in English or French is mandatory
