2nd edition of E3 | Engaging and inspiring people in technology
April 19, 2018 the second edition of TMC E3 | Entrepreneurial Experience Event will take place. We started this event in 2016 to connect and inspire our Employeneurs and it was a great success. So this year we created an even more inspiring and interesting program and want to welcome everyone participating in high tech industries. Our strength as an organization in the high tech sector comes from cooperating with our clients and other companies. We strongly believe in sharing knowledge and resources as a way to accelerate innovation and ensure continuance for ourselves and our clients.
“With E3 we want to provide a unique platform for high tech professionals to be inspired and learn from each other”, Silvia Verhoosel, Marketing & Communication officer, points out. “E3 is not only about TMC. Of course you can get to know who we are and how we work. For example by visiting the cool and innovative projects from our Entrepreneurial Lab and meeting the enthusiastic teams behind them. But we have managed to book very interesting guests who shed their own light on the high tech industry and innovation.”
People drive technology
Scientific journalist and TV presenter Diederik Jekel as key note will talk about the responsibility engineers and scientists have to society nowadays. He has the innate ability to clearly explain the world of science. He does so on radio, television, the internet, columns and books. You may know him as a guest at the Dutch TV show ‘De Wereld Draait Door’. People drive technology is the theme throughout the whole program. Lotte Geertsen, responsible for the TMC Entrepreneurial Lab, explains: “We divided this theme into three tracks: People, Drive and Technology. In each track we offer you insights, inspiration and the possibility to participate. People is about employee engagement and increasing it. About happy and involved employees. The Drive track takes you into the world of our Employeneurs and their drive to create technical innovation on their own. And last, but certainly not least, the Technology track offers you two interesting talks: one about cross-industry innovation by expert and idea DJ Ramon Vullings and one about blockchain and data science. It will be difficult to choose!”
Join the conversation
Part of the People track is a special live debate on employee engagement. In this debate we as TMC invited Diederik Jekel to join in on the conversation with Corporate Rebels and one of our clients, Bosch Transmission Technologies. Research shows in the Netherlands, only 9% of the employees is engaged at work. What can you do to increase your engagement as employer or employee? Corporate Rebels as a young but booming consultancy company investigates all over the world how organizations can make work more fun. Within TMC we are doing several experiments with them and our Employeneurs on improving our own engagement.
So, if you want to grab an opportunity the get away from your desk, see and hear interesting stuff and meet new people, you have to be at E3. You can join in on the conversation, participate in a fun contest about the projects and choose your favorite project. Just want to sit back and listen in? Have a drink with us at the end? That is also okay!
