TMC’s Vortex Cannon makes its festival debut!
The TMC Vortex Cannon is about to make its first public appearance. The Holi Fusion Festival in Eindhoven will be the venue for this amazing Entrepreneurial Lab showcase. A Vortex Cannon is a device that fires doughnut-shaped air vortices, similar to smoke rings but larger and stronger.
“Many employeneurs will remember the end-of-year party, where we showed the first prototype of the Vortex Cannon,” says Ted van Hoof, initiator of the Vortex Cannon project. “Now we have made a second prototype, designed specifically for festivals, and we have found our first customer in the Holi Fusion Festival.”
The idea for the Vortex Cannon originally started out of the simple wish of going to the Tomorrow Land festival and ended up being the winner of the Employeneur Award of 2014. “It’s great that we are able to do these things at TMC. We started an Entrepreneurial Lab project and got funds from TMC to work on our ideas and to expand our skills. Now we are ready to show what began as a random idea to the outside world.”
