The year 2017 started super fresh! Both in temperature and new ideas. In the end of 2016 I was given the opportunity to inspire the audience present at TMC’s Entrepreneurial Experience Event. My story at this event was based on research I conducted from which I concluded that ‘the best way to have a good idea is to share lots of ideas’. Doing this will give you an increased chance on innovative success.
During my presentation I shared my message with the participants in such a way that it became our story. Because, sharing lots of ideas in the early phase of open innovation starts with individuals sharing their thoughts and ideas. You can ‘be the change’ if you ‘start today’.
A few days after the event I had a lunch meeting with a TMC Employeneur. He told me that he was very much inspired by my story. Next to that, he already started his change by sharing the entrepreneurial ideas he has. Together we had a very nice brainstorm about his idea and the possibilities and questions to be answered in the next phases. Since then he also believes that sharing his ideas and receiving valuable feedback in return can help him further. I truly hope that he will find even more inspiration by sharing his story with others.
Also, during a session with another Employeneur I experienced that my presentation inspired him. Of course, I prepared my presentation in the best possible way. At the same time, it was also a new experience to present my story to this specific audience. Additionally, in order to prepare my presentation, I used the advices and tips from TMC Employeneur Mark Robinson. Mark’s TEDx movie gave me new insights on how to tell a story to an audience and keep their attention. And so, during the session with the Employeneur I advised him to watch Mark’s movie as well. But, he then surprised me with the biggest compliment I received after the Entrepreneurial Experience Event so far. He told me that my message about ‘the best way to have a good idea is to share lots of ideas’ inspired him on such a professional level that he is convinced I should have my own TEDx movie. Wow, thank you!
If I look back at the Entrepreneurial Experience Event, I can only be thankful that I was able to have inspired TMC Employeneurs and others. Even more, I am happy to share the news with you that my presentation is now available as one of TMC’s first TELx movies!
