Senior Windows Engineer

| Your challenges?

• Provide subject matter expertise in operating systems engineering
• Ensure migration: Exchange on On-premise > Exchange & Office 365 (Online)
• Provide advanced technical support and serve as an escalation point for IT incidents and service requests, including with third parties (e.g. manufacturer or vendor) as necessary
• Participate in the development of systems standards, policies and procedures
• Design, program and modify scripts (in various scripting languages) as necessary
• Document engineering work, incident resolution and recurring incidents; creating technical analysis, performance, and enhancement reports
• Implement and carry out maintenance consisting of upgrades/updates/fixes for core operating systems and their related components, following industry good practices
• Ensure performance and reliability by monitoring systems for high availability
• Work with other information technology professionals to resolve performance issues and optimise performance

| What do we expect from you?

• Good team player, customer-, solution- and improvement oriented
• Work in autonomy and provide regular reports to your manager: 1 or 2 times a week
• Good capacity to manage a project and work with milestones
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or Between 6 – 10 years of relevant practical experience in a similar role.
• Good English Level, French is an Asset

• Good knowledges in :

• Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019
• Exchange on On-premise Exchange & Office 365 (Online)
• Engineering support for enterprise-level configuration management
• Microsoft SCCM (not mandatory but an asset)
• Active Directory
