Product Owner High Tech

| Your challenges?

Multiple positions for Product Owners are currently available within our Physics department at TMC. Our Product Owners are the key figures between the external stakeholders (eg suppliers, clients) and the development teams of our customers. They are considered to act as business representative for the products and services these teams deliver. Contributing to and guarding the product vision. Helping to create a strategy and setting up a product roadmap. Ensuring with each product increment that business critical and high priority features are delivered to meet customer expectations.

• Creating a thorough understanding of the requirements and the needs of the customers;
• Balancing external business and internal interests in priority setting;
• Securing relevant stakeholders are managed and expectations are aligned;
• Clearly expressing and prioritizing product backlog items to best achieve goals and delivering value;
• Ensuring that the product backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the development teams will work on next;
• Guiding the development teams in understanding the items in the product backlog to a level that they are able to develop them;
• Ensuring and reviewing the value of the work the development team delivers;
• Taking accountability for all work done and contributed by the development teams;

| What do we expect from you?

You have a M.Sc. or PhD degree in physics and significant experience (at least several years, preferably more) in the high-tech industry. You can leverage this background to operate as a “multitool” offering your understanding of the world and expertise into solving different problems, creating different methods, designs or systems in different markets and applications in projects ranging from several months to several years at different companies.

Required:

• Degree in Applied Physics (MSc) or similar
• Connection to the Netherlands
  • Such as: Living here or having roots here (preferred), planning to move here for a long time etc.
• 2 to 5 years of leadership experience in a similar coordinating position at a company in the high-tech industry
• Experience in project management is a plus
• Knowledge of the various roles in SAFe - Agile.
• Team player, responsible, reliable, flexible, committed.
• Strong pragmatic attitude, inquisitive, self-propelling and enthusiastic.
• Strong pre: Speaking the Dutch language
