As an Electronic Design Engineer, based in Italy, Milan area, you work on several Research&Development projects, where the technology and the innovation play a crucial role. You operate in a multi-cultural and multi-discipline team, where you can improve your technical competences and soft skills as well.
You are involved for projects in a leading company for electronics development. You use your knowledge to contribute to the projects success and to meet the deadlines. You are responsible for complex system and board level design in order to meet customers requirements from development of conceptual prototypes and architecture through development into full-scale production.
You apply design approaches and parameters for PCB physical design , through recognized standard concepts, practices and procedures in areas such as high speed circuit design, PCB routing techniques, control plane and data plane processing silicon, complex memory architectures, signal integrity and ASIC design. You participate with other team members in activities like board layout, mechanical, thermal, power systems design and SW integration.
Also, you provide technical support and instruction to junior staff and help solve in-service engineering problems. You are able tp operate computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
You are involved in meeting customers expectations by analyzing system requirements, capacity, cost and needs to determine the most appropriate software and equipment. You also inspect electronic equipment and instruments to ensure conformance to specifications, safety standards and applicable codes and regulations. Based on Quality Process Requiremenrts, you are responsible for preparing and maintaining the project documentation.


You have a M. Sc in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (or similar) and 2+ years of experience designing electronic boards. During your academic or through professional experience you have gained expertise in the following fields:

  • Orcad Capture CIS
  • Embedded microcontroller architectures
  • Very low power electrical design for battery operated devices with regard to power supply optimization
  • HW/FW partitioning analysis techniques
  • High accuracy and very small signals analogue front end design
  • A/D conversion techniques
  • Knowledge of USB, RS232, SPI, I2C lines
  • Laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, meters…)


You are a team player, but you can act independently and show leadership in the projects in which you are involved, and problem solving is your attitude. You have a pragmatic, result-driven and entrepreneurial mindset, and you tackle challenges in a pro-active manner. You have excellent oral and written communication skills and can handle multiple projects and activities simultaneously. You have a good knowledge of English language, spoken and written.
