Successful TMC E3 | The importance of engagement

We're looking back on a great and very sunny second edition of TMC E3 | Entrepreneurial Experience Event 2018 that took place on April 19th in The Netherlands. The event was all about engagement. Engagement with our Employeneurs and clients. But also the engagement of high-tech professionals, engineers and scientists with each other, other industries and society. As Ramon Vullings, cross-industry expert en idea DJ pointed out in his presentation: 'Disruption often comes from outside your sector.' And according to Dutch scientific journalist Diederik Jekel 'you're obligated to take into consideration what your idea or invention does to society'.

At TMC we believe that people drive technology. We stimulate our Employeneurs to stretch their boundaries en search for new ideas. They can realize their own innovative idea in the TMC Entrepreneurial Lab. Some of the great projects that have sprouted from there were presented at E3. By working on these ideas our Employeneurs inspire each other, learn from colleagues and develop skills outside their technical experiences like project planning, budget planning and marketing. This makes them the entrepreneurial professionals that add value to our clients who rely on innovation strength and continuity.

Finding the right people with the right skills on the right time is a challenge in high-tech industry. Especially now that economy is rising again. 'It is really important to attract good people and to keep them,' Freek Ronner from Corporate Rebels emphasizes. And engagement is the key to that.
